A fan of inimitable live music, thrilling F1 race cars and mouth-watering food? End off your September with Majulah Made in S.E.A.!
In partnership with the Somerset Belt, Zendyll Music Agency and All That Matters join hands in a momentous celebration of rising music artists in Southeast Asia. As part of Music Matters Live 2022, happening from 25 to 28 September, an impressive selection of rising talents will be showcasing their craft — hailing from the brimming Southeast Asian music landscape.
Back and better than ever, since COVID-19, Music Matters Live (MML) will be featuring 38 emerging artists from 12 countries in over 6 nights. With the “ALL THAT METAS” theme in mind, Asia’s premiere ‘Business 2 Business 2 Fan’ event experience is a conference by day and music festival by night. All That Matters brings together world class speakers with over 2,000 senior executives from the worlds of Web3, Music, Sports, Gaming, Digital and Marketing. Perfect timing in such exciting times within the digital age, if you ask me.
Co-Founder and CEO of Branded, the owners and producers of All That Matters, Jasper Donat expressed the company’s thrill in presenting several wonderful artists live and esteem in working with many notable partners. “We’re delighted and excited to be working with the team at Zendyll once again to showcase some of Southeast Asia’s top talent. I’m really looking forward to checking out some old friends and new talent rubbing shoulders on stage at *SCAPE The Ground Theatre,” he shared.
Earlier this Friday, MML kicked off the Grand Prix Singapore Season (GPSS) Weekend at Clarke Quay’s Fountain Stage with artists from Trinidad Tobago for the first time. Leading up to the highly anticipated F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2022, there will be an array of showcases by MML: Ones To Watch, Made in Canada, Music Is Universal* and Monstercat parties.
And on 28 September, Majulah Made in S.E.A. will be featuring top emerging music acts from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. You can expect head-bobbing and groove inducing performances from Lil J, Feez, Hondo, lewloh, RRILEY, AE$OP CA$H, Akeem Jahat, Krysta Joy and Mikha Angelo, as well as special appearances from Aisyah Aziz and Wani Kayrie.
Jon Chua, the founder and CEO of Zendyll shared his excitement towards this epic event: “I am very pleased that we are working with All That Matters and the Branded team to present such a crucial part of Music Matters’ return to the live stage. It has been two long years since the pandemic put a stop to live music. With the strong support of Somerset Belt, Majulah Made in S.E.A. will be putting the spotlight back on deserving artists in the region, and I am really looking forward to that.”
“Somerset Belt a space for programmes and initiatives driven by youth for youth. Our partnership with Zendyll Music Agency for Majulah Made in S.E.A. is one of the platforms that youths have a stake in creating, and celebrates youths coming out stronger from the pandemic through showcasing their talents both locally and across the region. Youths can look forward to more partnership opportunities to be the change and create meaningful impact through the Somerset Belt,” said Mr Shawn Wong, Deputy Director of Somerset Belt Office and Deputy Executive Director of *SCAPE.
Homegrown pop star RRILEY expressed being very proud to be part of the event. “I am super honoured to be added to the Majulah Made in S.E.A. line-up alongside so many other talented performers who are heavyweights in their own right. One of my favourite performances I’ve done has to be Music Matters Live 2019 as part of the Made in Singapore showcase. I’m excited to be back post-pandemic to see if we can top that. It’s gonna be a great show, I already know it,” she adds.
Other than great vibes and music, attendants can also enjoy marvellous food and beverage vendors! Namely Japanese-inspired bar GudSht, Somerset Belt-based cafe Assembly Ground and local craft spirits and cocktails manufacturer Velixir.
