Villainous Intent Vol.1

Made for the hardcore community, Villainy Productions debuts with a thrilling night of headbanging music. On 11 September, Indonesian bands Zip and No Excuse will be performing with fresh up-and-coming talent from the local scene — ErrorConstitution and Hollow Threat.

Fruit Basket Vol. 3

Fruit Basket is back with its third volume! Happening on 14 September and presented by independent record label spikyfruits and NUS Centre For the Arts, as part of ExxonMobil Campus Concert (EMCC): Unbound and Unbridled, audiences can expect rap, local alt-rock and indie-pop-rock. Appearing on the stellar line-up are rapper and songwriter Sambal Snake, independent musician RENE and alt-rock sextet ULTRA MEGA CAT ATTACK.

Gracing the Esplanade Concert Hall, once again, is homegrown sensation Charlie Lim! This time round, in celebration of Esplanade’s 20th anniversary, it’ll be a PopLore programme. Charlie will be showing up with an amazing line-up of guest artists from The Great Wave — a new artist collective set to release collaborative works. Featured artists include Yeo, Keyana, Dru Chen, Umar Sirhan, Aisyah Aziz, Ng Pei-Sian and Kittypurrnaz.

Charlie’s superband of seasoned musicians, The Mothership, will also be present. Moreover, the artists will be sharing their personal experiences in songwriting as well as insights into their creative processes though candid on-stage conversations.

Michael Lives Forever: A Tribute To Michael Jackson

In honour and loving memory of The King of Pop, the greatest legend that ever lived, the ‘Michael Lives Forever’ Mega tribute show will be coming to Singapore for the very first time! Thanks to Rodrigo management, audiences can expect a live band and entourage of dancers with over 60 costume changes. The cherry on top? The show’s choreographed by Lavelle Smith Jr., MJ’s choreographer himself.

HyperDrive Cities Festival 2022

Gear up for music, technology, entertainment and live simulated racing! From 23 to 25 September, as part of this year’s long-awaited Grand Prix Season Singapore, the inaugural HyperDrive Cities Festival will be held at *SCAPE. Other than a regional simulated racing competition (HyperDrive Cities Championship) and a curation of live music performances, festival-goers can experience electric go-karting and take on simulated racing in a McLaren 720S GT3 race car.

As for the music aspect, guests can enjoy watching pop sensation RRILEY, funk-disco pop soloist Haneri, DJs NashD, Cherish and Durio. There’ll also be an exciting street dance performance from Rocio & Co.!

The Script Greatest Hits Tour 2022

Hands up if you’ve ever blasted one of The Script’s songs during a breakup! This month, the Irish rock band will be back in Singapore on 25 September. Danny O’Donoghue, known as the frontman of the band, said they’re “excited to be taking it on the road” and knows he’s going to “lose it on stage, night after night”.

The Script will be performing bangers off their ‘Tales From The Script’ album, a showcase of their biggest hits and fan favourites from their six studio albums to date. Some tracks include the new single ‘I Want It All’, chart-topping hits ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, ‘For The First Time’ and ‘Superheroes’ as well as the UK #1 smash ‘Hall of Fame’ featuring will.i.am.
